Hinge only showing 5 photos? It can happen if one of your photos is deleted by Hinge. A while back, it was a bug (fixed immediately).

Can you add more than 6 photos on Hinge? You can if you sync your IG profile or if you combine multiple photos into one and then upload as 1 photo.

Hinge Life Partner: Your life, their life, half-life? A life partner doesn’t necessarily mean just one partner. Similarly, if someone tells you they want to be exclusive after one date, that is a huge red flag.

Hinge Long-Term Relationship: Long term is ambiguous, could be a 2nd date for some, more than 2 hours for others.

Hinge Long-Term Relationship, Open To Short: It means they want to be able to have flings but not commit necessarily. Assume nothing/everything.

Hinge Short-Term Relationship, Open To Long: They want to hook up while dangling the idea of a relationship in the right situation.

Hinge Figuring Out My Dating Goals: They don’t know what they want yet. It’s ambiguous. Not sure what explanation is needed here.

Prefer Not To Say: Assume nothing/everything. Why do you want to waste your time with someone who hides something like this?

Bottom line is you shouldn’t take anyone’s word at face value. Learn to spend time with them, ask them questions, see if their efforts/plans line up with what they seek. People lie but you don’t have to assume all people are liars – best to learn how to read people, situations rather than rely on an answer filled out on a dating profile but don’t ignore someone who says they don’t want a relationship/life partner.

They told you upfront and you choose to ignore – that is your fault.
