My work spans a few areas but at the heart of it, I help clients with hobbies, lifestyle choices, social skills, meeting people, making friends and dating better. I do this through a variety of outlets including dating coaching (online and offline), wardrobe styling, dating app profile optimization, assessing hobbies, interests, friends, habits, schedules, friend circles and more.
I am based in San Francisco but work largely with clients in major cities across the world including NYC, LA, Chicago, London, Paris, Melbourne, Sydney, and more. My clients span men and women as well as gay and straight. My prices vary as my services are customized based on various factors like time, effort, photos, research, planning, travel and more.
I take photos because well many people still rely on dating apps for most of their dating efforts. I also am experienced with wardrobe consulting given that my photos are limited by how people present themselves. You don't need to spend a lot of money to look good but you will need time, patience and trust to get the most out of your wardrobe and budget. Similarly, I also focus on social skills and hobbies because no matter how good you look in person or photos, it may not matter if you are boring, have a hard time expressing yourself, don't know how to read people or cut off time wasters.
All this led to my most recent focus: Eddie's List. I was curating activities, classes, volunteering and things to do for clients to make friends and meet singles one-off so I figured more people beyond my client base could benefit from my years of knowledge and insight. These days, Eddie's List is read by locals, visitors, young and old, men and women and those from all sorts of backgrounds and professions including scientists, artists, VC's, pr firms, founders, students, seniors, singles, couples, service industry, tech, government officials, medical professionals and more.
I don't consider myself a traditional life coach but a lot of what I do revolves around helping people find information, analyzing data, making decisions, reading people, fixing mistakes, giving back, and enjoying their lives. I just do this through the outlets and channels described above. Similarly, the work I do is a bit contrarian to others in the industries I work in: I don't photoshop images, I don't take stiff portraits for dating profiles, I turn down over 85% of dating clients, I shoot my professional headshots outdoors, public spaces and client sites utilizing natural light (no studios).
The prices for my services are customized given that I treat everyone uniquely and create solutions based on individual needs. Unlike other photographers and dating coaches who use same generic locations & background for photos, don't address things like wardrobe & hair, standardize bootcamps for all their dating clients or treat everyone’s problems the same, I take the time to pay attention to all the details others don't.
