What Is The Difference Between A Portrait And A Headshot – Corporate Photoshoot

A headshot is used for professional purposes (job hunting, branding, hiring, acting, modeling etc.). In contrast, a portrait is more so used for editorial purposes to tell a story i.e. magazines, newspapers, articles, books etc.

Rotating too much 30-45 degrees or more away from the camera means more for modeling portraits and can signal insecurity or that you are hiding something.
