Bumble BFF App, Bumble BFF For Guys, Bumble BFF Profiles, Bumble BFF Opposite Gender – Bumble BFF Review, Bumble For Friends

As much as people struggle with dating, many are having a hard time meeting new people and making friends. Thanks to things like Covid, WFH as well as rising cost of living, shift to desk jobs and reliance on technology, it’s getting harder and harder to meet people organically, keep social skills fresh and have the confidence to introduce yourself to others.

While this is nothing new, it’s gotten harder in the last 5 years. Losing friends is inevitable – friends getting married, friends getting divorced, friends moving out of town, work no longer provides outlet to meet people as much as before covid and isolation during covid, people are struggling to re-integrate themselves into society.

Dating apps have been around for a while as has social apps like Meetup but Bumble is the latest company to venture into this space with its Bumble BFF mode.

What Is Bumble BFF? Bumble BFF vs Bumble For Friends, Bumble BFF Missing

Bumble BFF was introduced with the Bumble main app (used for dating) as a separate function. It allowed people to create a profile, fill in basic background info/interests and meet others in their area. Over time, the service has evolved by now being offered as a standalone app (no longer need the dating app to use the service).

Once you create a profile on Bumble For Friends (assuming you used the same credentials as Bumble Date), your profile will port over and you will no longer have access to Bumble BFF in the main app. If you prefer to use just one app, you will need to create a new profile.

How Does Bumble BFF Work? How To Use Bumble BFF, Bumble BFF Feature

They way Bumble BFF works is that a user must create a profile and fill out information about themselves (the exact questions/information asked is located below). Once a user creates a profile with text and photos, the user can then swipe on profiles to express interest in getting to know people on the app.

A user must swipe left if they want to skip the profile or right if they want to get to know them more. If two people mutually swipe right on each other, a match is created at which point

Do You Have To Pay For Bumble BFF? Do I Need To Pay For Bumble For Friends?

The core functionality is free, but a Premium account allows users to see who liked them, apply advanced filters as well as extend matches, rematch with expired matches and more.

The free version of Bumble BFF also limits how many swipes a day you have so you may need to pay to send additional likes to people.

Bumble BFF As A Guy, Bumble BFF As A Woman, Bumble BFF San Francisco

Using BFF can be a rude awakening for some people, especially those that never used apps or don’t know what it’s like using dating apps as a gay man, straight woman.

As a woman, there are lots of men trying to use Bumble BFF to date or hookup. Similarly, as a straight guy, there are lots of guys trying to date, hookup with you. I think Bumble BFF should be used by all straight men so they can understand what it’s like using a dating app as a woman.

Rather than block or unmatch, one should report profiles on Bumble to improve the experience for all. https://eddie-hernandez.com/reporting-someone-on-bumble-hinge-tinder-dating-apps/

There are some quality people on the app but you will have to be patient, learn to ID red flags and sift through a lot of unwanted attention, manipulators, creeps and liars.

Well Get Along If Answers Bumble BFF – Bumble BFF Prompts

Don’t just state what you like, list things you are passionate about. Find things that are unique, fun, interesting but more so attract who you want to meet. The more lazy and vague you are in your answers, the less likely you are to get right swipes.

Bumble BFF prompts are self-directed questions aimed to complement bios and encourage you to get others to be interested in you. People also use answers to filter incompatible lifestyles and creepy behavior.

I’m Using Bumble BFF For Answer

Just state what you are looking for. Not sure why you need help looking for answers. Be authentic vs looking for cliche copy/paste answers. If you are lonely or have not friends, that’s ok but that is not what you should put on a profile (seems like you are looking only to take from others rather than offer something yourself). You need to state what you like to do, what you want to check out and what kind of people you like to meet. Be specific.

Bumble BFF Conversation Starters

Show that you ready their profile. Don’t comment on the same thing everyone is commenting on. Be specific, start a conversation vs asking a question (this is a take rather than give approach – not recommended).

Is Bumble BFF For Same Gender Only? Is Bumble For Friends For Same Gender Only?

It currrently is for the same gender. There were talks of opening it up but Bumble likely reversed if after a quick trial and too many pervy dudes trying to get fresh with women.

Bumble BFF Review: Final Thoughts – How To Use BFF Effectively, Bumble Friends

Bumble BFF is not Doordash, you can’t order friends using the app. You need to do some self-work to get the most out of it. Things that help are:

-looking approachable (photos, smiling, good hygiene)

-writing (showing effort, being unique/specific)

-be local (limit your radius to local people – it can be a 1-3 miles in big cities or 10-20 miles in smaller towns)

-be proactive (don’t just take, you have to be give people a reason to connect, get to know you)

-fill out your profile (too many empty fields can look suspicious)

Check out the events in your area but don’t expect people to be your friend without effort, personality, etc. Bumble BFF events fill up quickly and are rather limited.
