La Cocina is a nonprofit working to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants and people of color.
La Cocina is an organization I have worked with over the years since my early days as a photographer. The work they do is absolutely incredible – from the entrepreneurs that enter the program, to the roots they have built in the communities they serve, to the footprint they have created in San Francisco. They are the organization behind the annual San Francisco Street Food Festival, which attracts thousands of people every year. Check out more information about the event here.
